WHAT WILL YOU LEARN THIS WEEK?
This week you will be making some big decisions and there's a lot to get done! By the end of this week, you will have your name and tag line chosen, you will have created your logo, picked your brand colors and set up your finances binder. I'm not going to tell you how to create your logo because I'm sure you'll be more than able to letter it out, but I will give you a few things to keep in mind as you create it.
As you go through and pick your name, tag line, logo, etc. feel free to share your WIP, thoughts and questions on our Facebook group so that we can choose the strongest options available. We're in this together!
YOUR ASSIGNMENTS
- Watch the videos and complete your note sheets
- Brainstorm all your names and tag lines
- Research available names online
- Choose a final name and tag line
- Register your name on GoDaddy or another similar site
- Sign up for all social media with that name (if it's taken, consider alternatives that will place you before the person who has that name in the search).
- Create your logo and vectorize it if necessary
- Make a secret Pinterest board with color inspiration
- Select your brand colors
- Complete your Style Guide with your logo, tag line, logo and colors. (If you have a text based logo, use the Style Guide sheet for that option. If you have a text free logo, use that Style Guide.)
